New Protestant chapters established in Binh Phuoc province

Four Protestant chapters under the Evangelical church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Binh Phuoc province’s Bu Gia Map district made their debut and appointed their Superintendents at ceremonies held on May 17.

Attending the events included Pastor Deputy Secretary of the ECVN (South) Nguyễn Ngọc Thuận, Commissioned Pastor Head of the Representative Committee in the province Điểu Hiêng, local authorities’ representatives and about 3,000 Protestant followers in the locality.

These newly established chapters and their superintendents appointed included Missionary Điểu Lý as Superintendent of Binh Ha 4 chapter, Pastor Điểu Druốt as Superintendent of Binh Giai 2 chapter,  Pastor Điểu Druốt as Superintendent of Binh Ha 1 chapter and Missionary Điểu Dương as Superintendent of Bu Ca Mau 1 chapter.

During the ceremonies, ECVN’s dignitaries announced the establishment decisions for four chapters and performed traditional appointment rites for their Superintendents in the chapters.
