Fifteen deacons of Hanoi Archdiocese were solemnly promoted as priests on December 3 at a ceremony held in Hoang Nguyen parish church located in Tri Thuy commune of Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi city.
The ordination ceremony was presided over by Archbishop of Hanoi Archdiocese Joseph Vũ Văn Thiên, and attended by priests, clergies, the deacons’ relatives, and Catholics in the Archdiocese.
During the ceremony, Archbishop Joseph Vũ Văn Thiên performed ordainment rituals for the new priests.
On December 5, Archbishop Joseph Vũ Văn Thiên presented priesthood appointment certificates to the new priests with pastoral affairs starting from December 12.
