Bau Bang evangelical congregation belonging to Cay Truong chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) (ECVN) in Binh Duong made its debut at a ceremony held on March 17 in the province’s Bau Bang district.
The ceremony saw the presence of Pastor Member of the ECVN’s Executive Committee in charge of pastoral affairs in Binh Duong province Nguyễn Tờn, local authorities’ representatives, and members from Bau Bang evangelical congregation.
Bau Bang evangelical congregation with registered local authorities in January 2021 currently has 64 members mainly living in Bau Bang residential area of Bau Bang district’s Lai Uyen town.
Overview of the establishment ceremony of Miet Moi evangelical chapter
On the same day, Miet Moi evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) (ECVN) was formally established with its new superintendent appointed at a ceremony held in Huong Hoa district’s Huong Linh commune, Quang Tri province.
The event taking place at Miet Moi church saw the presence of Pastor Member of the ECVN’s Executive Committee in charge of pastoral affairs in Quang Tri province Nguyễn Xuân Sanh, representatives from local authorities and members of Miet Moi and neighboring evangelical chapters.
During the ceremony, Pastor Nguyễn Xuân Sanh handed over the appointment decision and the official seal to Commissioned Pastor Nguyễn Hữu Khải.
On the occasion, Miet Moi evangelical chapter presented 5 million VND to the Fund for the Poor in Huong Linh commune.
