Da Loan Evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (Southern) in Lam Dong province’s Duc Trong district held on December 23 a solemn ceremony to inaugurate and consecrate its new church.
The event saw the presence of Pastor President of the ECVN (Southern) Thái Phước Trường, Pastor Member of the ECVN (Southern) Executive Committee in charge of pastoral affairs in Lam Dong province Kon Să Ha Hăck, Pastor Member of ECVN’s clergy board Cil Mup Ha Kar, pastors from the Church’s representative board in the province and over 2,000 dignitaries, deacons and lay people of the ECVN in the province.
Local guests at the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức and representatives from local authorities.
Da Loan Evangelical chapter was officially recognized in 2007 by Lam Dong provincial government. The construction of the new church of the chapter was started in 2017 on the area of 324.4 m2 and completed at the total cost of over three billion VND.
