Phu Xuan Evangelical Church under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Ho Chi Minh city’s Nha Be district held on November 30 a ceremony for inaugurating its new church.
The ceremony saw the presence of Pastor President of the ECVN Thái Phước Trường, representatives of the ECVN and its representative committee in Ho Chi Minh, local authorities, and members of Phu Xuan and other evangelical churches.
Phu Xuan Evangelical Church was established in 1938 and built its original church in 1954 which has seriously deteriorated and no longer met current demands of religious practices of the evangelical church. The construction of a new church and a Christian educational center has been completed after 18 months with the total investment of 11 billion VND.
