A solemn ceremony for inauguration and consecration of the new church of Duc My Protestant Chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) in Khanh Hoa province was held on May 3.
Attending the event included Pastor Vice President of the ECVN (South) Thái Phước Trường, local authorities’ representatives, and about 500 Protestant dignitaries and followers.
Duc My Protestant Chapter was established in 1962 and completed its church in 1965. As its original church has seriously degraded after over 50 years of existence, the Chapter started the construction of its new church in July 2015, with 22.8m long, 15.6m wide and 17m high.
