Caodai parish under Tay Ninh Caodai Church in My Tho city’s ward 4 solemnly held on May 4 a ceremony to install the worshipping symbol for its new Divine Mother temple.
Attending the ceremony were Priest Chairman of Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Representative Committee in Tien Giang province Thượng Ấn Thanh, Chairman of the parish’s Management Board Thượng Bền Thanh, representatives from 29 Caodai parishes in the province and a large numbers of followers in the locality.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê.
The original Divine Mother temple in War 4 was built in 1968. In October 2016, the management board of the Caodai parish started restoring the worshipping altar and guest house of the temple at a total cost of over VND one billion.
