A solemn ceremony for diaconate ordainment of three graduated seminarians of My Tho Diocese was held on November 10 at the diocese’s cathedral in Tien Giang province’s My Tho city.
The ceremony was presided by Bishop of the diocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm and joint by Director of the Saint Joseph Major Seminary in Ho Chi Minh City Joseph Bùi Công Trác and over 1,000 priests, clergymen and clergywomen, the seminarians’ relatives and Catholic followers in the diocese.
The three new deacons have graduated from the Saint Joseph Major Seminary in Ho Chi Minh City, and after their ordination, they would serve in parishes of My Tho Diocese as pastoral assistants.
