A ceremony for formally announcing the establishment of the executive board of My Tinh An commune under the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in Tien Giang province was held on May 13.
Attending the event included Standing Vice-Chairman of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s executive committee Nguyễn Huy Diễm, Head of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s representative board in the province Võ Văn Thượng and over 200 Hoa Hao Buddhist followers in Tien Giang and other provinces.
Vice Chairman of the provincial committee for religious affairs Trần Văn Khuê was amongst local guests at the ceremony.

New Hoa Hao Buddhist executive board makes its debut
On the occasion, the new Hoa Hao Buddhism executive board presented 2 charity houses and 80 gift sets to poor households in My Tinh An and neighboring communes with the total value of VND 60 million.
As reported, My Tinh An commune is currently home to over one hundred Hoa Hao Buddhist followers. The four-member executive board of My Tinh An commune headed by Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hà has become the 17th commune-level executive board under the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in the province.
