The ceremony was presided over by Bishop of Vinh Diocese Paul Nguyễn Thái Hợp and attended by local authorities’ representatives and Catholic followers from Tan Phong and neighboring parishes.

Overview of the ceremony

Tuong Son sub-parish under Tan Phong parish currently has 440 Catholic households with 1,671 people and its original church was built in 1860. The upgrade of the church was started in April 21, 2012.
