Hoi An Caodai parish under Tay Ninh Caodai Church located in Hoi An commune, An Giang province’s Cho Moi district was officially established at a ceremony held on February 17.
Attending the event included Bishop Chairman Ngọc Năng Thanh and members of the church’s Representative Committee in An Giang province, local Caodai dignitaries and followers, and representatives of the provincial Government Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities.
During the event, the Caodai Representative Committee presented the Church’s documents on the establishment of Hoi An Caodai parish as well as the appointment of the four-member management board of the new parish. Accordingly, the new parish currently has 535 believers and become the 30th parish under Tay Ninh Caodai Church established in the province.
At the ceremony, members of the parish’s management board pledged to uphold the church’s fine traditions of unity, follow the church’s charter and State laws and actively participate in social charities.
