A ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of Phu Hung oratory under the Tay Ninh Caodai Church located in Ben Tre province’s Phu Hung town was held on September 9.
The event saw the presence of Cardinal President of the Caodai church's Executive Committee Thượng Tám Thanh, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hồng Quân and large numbers of Caodai dignitaries and followers from Ben Tre and other provinces.
Phu Hung parish was established in 1966 and granted a certificate of the land use right in 2014. In late 2018, the parish’s management board received approval from local authorities for building its oratory according to a model regulated by the Caodai church with one-ground floor and two stories.
