Hiep Thanh Caodai parish under Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Tay Ninh province’s Go Dau district solemnly inaugurated its new oratory at a ceremony held on October 28.
Attending the event were Cardinal President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church Thượng Tám Thanh, and about 1,500 Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers from Tay Ninh and neighboring provinces.
Local guests at the event included Head of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Board in Go Dau district Nguyễn Văn Khải and representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.
The original Hiep Thanh oratory was built in 1966 by semi-solid materials and has seriously degraded after over 45 years of existence. The reconstruction of the parish’s new oratory was started in 2012 and completed at the total cost of over four billion VND.
