My An Caodai parish under Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Dong Thap province’s Thap Muoi district solemnly inaugurated its new oratory at a ceremony held on July 1.
The event saw the participation of Cardinal President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church Thượng Tám Thanh and about 2000 Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers from localities.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Thị Diễm Trang.
As reported, My An Caodai parish was established in 1962 and built its worshipping facility by semi-solid materials, and the parish’s original oratory has undergone several restorations and repairs after over 40 years of existence. The reconstruction of the new parish’s oratory was started in 2010 and was completed at an estimated cost of over 6.2 billion VND.
