Nhi Binh Caodai parish under the Vietnam Binh Duc Caodai Church located in Tien Giang provice’s Chau Thanh district held on April 4 a ceremony to inaugurate its new oratory’s main worshipping temple.
Attending the event included Archbishop Head of the Caodai church’s management committee Lê Văn Tròn, Principal Archbishop Deputy Head of the management committee Nguyễn Văn Khoái, heads of six Caodai management boards in Tien Giang and other provinces, representatives from other religions and a large number of Caodai followers.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial religious committee Trần Văn Khuê and representatives from local authorities.
Ribbon-cutting ceremony
The Caodai oratory was first constructed in 1957 and has undergone several restorations and repairs after over 60 years of existence. In early 2015, Nhi Binh Caodai oratory’s management board got the approval from local authorities for rebuilding its oratory for better meeting the need of religious practicing of Caodai followers in the locality.
As reported, the total cost of the oratory’s reconstruction is expected to be over VND 3 billion.
