Loc Thuan Caodai parish under the Vietnam Binh Duc Caodai Church in Ben Tre province held on December 4 a solemnly ceremony for inaugurating its new oratory.
Attending the ceremony were Principal Archbishop Head of the Binh Duc Caodai Church’s Management Committee Lê Văn Tròn and a large member of the Caodai Church in Ben Tre and other provinces.
Guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hồng Quân.
Loc Thuan Caodai parish was established in 1954 and its original oratory built on the area of 2000 square meters. After over 65 years of existence with four renovations, the oratory has seriously deteriorated and no longer met current demands of religious practices by local followers.
The provincial authorities approved for the Caodai parish to rebuild its oratory in late 2018. The reconstruction of the new oratory has been completed at the total investment of nearly four billion VND which was contributed by members of the Caodai parish and philanthropists.
