Nearly 4,000 Catholic fathers and mothers attend conference on parental responsibilities in Thai Binh diocese

On Sept. 13, nearly 4,000 Catholic fathers and mothers from the six Catholic deaneries gathered in Thai Binh diocese to attend a seminar with the theme “responsibilities of parents in building happy family” and celebrate the Holy Year on the occasion of 80th founding anniversary of the diocese.
Attending the seminar and celebrating ceremony were Bishop of Thai Binh diocese Nguyễn Văn Đệ and priests inside and outside the diocese.
The seminar was started with a discussion on the topic "the main responsibility of the parents in current family situation: happiness or misery - challenges - causes and reasons". Bishop Nguyễn Văn Đệ also raised reasons for the marriage rift or family breakdown, including marriage without commitment of Faith, infidelity, inequality between husband and wife…
