On November 8th, 2014, the Central Vietnam Fatherland Front in collaboration with the Education - Training Ministry held a national conference on participation of religions in preschool education development in Ho Chi Minh city.
According to reports from the provinces and cities, up to March this year, there were 265 preschools nationwide established by religious organizations and individuals, accounting for 1.9% of preschools across the country.
At the conference, the delegates discussed and evaluated advantages and disadvantages of the preschool education provided by religions, thereby finding out solutions to promote the role of religion in the development of preschool education./.
