Vice Chairmen of the provincial Party Committee Nguyễn Khắc Hưng and Trần Văn Chung received a delegation from the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee led by its Vice Chairman Most Venerable Thích Quảng Hà on occasion of 85th anniversary of Vietnamese Communist Party on Jan 28.
Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Khắc Hưng informed the guests about results of social-economic development in the province in 2014 and working plans for 2015. He also highlighted contributions by monks, nuns and Buddhists in the development of the locality and urged the provincial VBS Executive Committee to further step up social and charitable activities in the locality.
Most Venerable Thích Quảng Hà, who also serves as Vice Chairman of the VBS Executive Council, took the chance to thank the local authorities for favorable conditions for Buddhists activities in the locality over the past years.
