On December 3, the Caritas of My Tho Diocese in collaboration with the United State Wheelchair Association presented 50 wheelchairs to people with disabilities and patients with seizures from three Catholic parishes in Tien Giang province.
The wheelchairs were handed over to people with disabilities in parishes of My Tho Cathedral, Kim Son (Chau Thanh district) and My Trung (Cai Be district).
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the United State Wheelchair Association Lê Hùng Đức pledged to continue raising support for providing wheelchairs to people with disabilities in the diocese, bringing hope to those less fortunate.
