Most venerable Thích Trí Quảng calls on Buddhist community to strictly implement Directive No.16

Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng, Deputy Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) cum Chairman of the VBS Executive Committee in Ho Chi Minh City sent on July 11 a message for asking monks, nuns and lay Buddhists in the city for their strict implementation of Directive No.16 of the Prime Minister.
Accordingly, the Most Venerable asked monks, nuns and lay Buddhists in the city to strictly implement guidance on the Covid-19 prevention launched by authorities, and share food and necessities with local people who severely affected by the epidemic.
Chairman of the VBS Executive Committee in the city also asked summer retreat schools in the locality to hold prayers for peace and successful prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
