Archbishop Thượng Hậu Thanh led a delegation from the Missionary Caodai Church Executive Committee to visit and meet with Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee (PPC) on February 24.
Vice Chairman of the PPC Lê Quang Thích welcomed the delegation.
According to Archbishop Thượng Hậu Thanh the visit aimed to promote cohesion between religious organizations and local authorities. During the meeting, the Archbishop thanked local authorities for their support extended to religious activities of the Caodai Church in the past years.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Lê Quang Thích informed Caodai dignitaries of results of socio-economic development in the province in 2015. He also encouraged Caodai dignitaries and deacons to promote unity and make practical contributions to social-economic development in the locality.
