On February 16, the Missionary Caodai Church held a grand celebration dedicated to its Supreme Being in Hai Chau district of Da Nang city.
A large number of Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers attended the ceremony.
On this occasion, local authorities also joint the event and presented congratulatory flowers to the Missionary Caodai Church.
According to Caodaism, Duc Chi Ton or Supreme Being is the Creator of the world and the universe. The celebration, held annually on the eighth day of the first lunar month, is one of the two biggest religious festivals of the year for Caodai followers. The other, called Yen Dieu Tri Cung (or Divine Mother) festival, is held annually on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month.
