Ministry of Home Affairs reviews six-month performance

The Ministry of Home Affairs held on July 2 an online national conference to review its performance in the first six month 2021.

The event was chaired by Minister of Home Affairs Phạm Thị Thanh Trà and attended by Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs Nguyễn Trọng Thừa, Nguyễn Duy Thăng, Triệu Văn Cường, Vũ Chiến Thắng and Trương Hải Long, officials of the provincial – level home affairs departments and representatives from relevant agencies, with the total of 1,050 delegates.

The event discussed results and difficulties of the home affairs sector in the first six months, as well as pointed out working plans for the last months.

Regarding the state administration on belief and religion, in the first six months 2021, the Ministry of Home Affairs has well implemented the Party and the State guidelines and policies on belief and religion, timely redressed activities abusing belief and religion, and mobilized religious organizations to join in the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels in the 2021-2026 tenure, etc.

Addressing at the event, Minister of Home Affairs Phạm Thị Thanh Trà spoke highly of results of the home affairs sectors in the first six months and urged the Office of the Ministry to gather comments from home affairs departments in provinces and cities to complete the draft report on home affairs in the first six months 2021 and working plans in the last months.
