A delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs led by Minister Lê Vĩnh Tân paid a visit to Long Xuyen diocese on December 17 ahead of Christmas 2018.
The delegation was welcomed by Bishop of the diocese Joseph Trần Xuân Tiếu and former Bishop of the diocese Jean Baptiste Bùi Tuần.
During the visiting receptions, Minister Lê Vĩnh Tân extended happy Christmas celebrations to the bishops and Catholic followers in the diocese. He also expressed hope that the Catholic dignitaries would continue promoting moral values of Vietnamese Catholicism and making practical contributions to socio-economic development in the locality.
