The 6th national congress for the 2021-2026 tenure of the Minh Chơn (Verity Way) Caodai Church was successfully convened on March 29 at Ngoc Sac Holy See located in Ho Thi Ky commune of Ca Mau province’s Thoi Binh district.
The event saw the presence of members of the Caodai Church’s Central management committee and delegates from 49 parishes of the Church in the country.
Distinguished guests at the event included Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Thị Minh Nga and representatives from local authorities.
The one-day event reviewed the Caodai Church’s activities in the fifth term (2016-2021) and mapped out working plans for the next term, as well as approved the amended Charter of the Church.
As reported at the event, for the 2016-2021 tenure, the Verity Way Caodai Church has recorded many good results in religious affairs including the successfully organization of the general meeting of the Church’s women, the reconstruction of 10 Caodai oratories with the total cost of over 34 billion VND and 37 religious tenet training conferences with the participation of over 2,000 dignitaries and followers, etc.
In addition, members of the Caodai sect have spent nearly 50 billion VND on social charities, including over one billion VND and over 11,000 working days for building of 26 rural bridges and over 9,450 m of rural roads and a voluntary donation of over 17,000 m2 of land for reconstruction of schools in localities.

Addressing the national congress of the Caodai Church, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga spoke highly of practical contributions for socio-economic development by members of the Verity Way Caodai Church in the country. She also expressed hope that the Caodai church would further promote its fine traditions and encourage members of the Caodai sect to proactively join in local patriotic movements, contributing to build a prosperous and civilized country of Vietnam.
