Attending the meeting included representative leaders of Dak Lak provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committees and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and over 200 representatives of religions in the locality.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Secretary of the Dak Lak provincial Party Committee Trần Quốc Cường highly appreciated the role and contributions of religious dignitaries and deacons in the implementation of patriotic emulation movements launched by local authorities for the socio-economic development of Dak Lak province.

During the meeting, leaders of State bodies in the province also listened to comments of religious delegates on several issues, and pledged to continue creating favorable conditions for local religious organizations to practice their faith, to promote good traditions as well as proactively to join in social activities in the locality.

Dak Lak province is home to over 500.000 followers of four religions including Catholicism, Buddhism, Protestantism and Caodaism, accounting for more than 27% of the local population.
