Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee in Quang Ngai province Trần Hoàng Tuấn has exchanges with the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs on religious affairs in 2023 at a meeting held on February 14.
At the meeting
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Trần Hoàng Tuấn highly appreciated the provincial religious committee and concerning agencies in implementing the state administration on belief and religion in 2022 and stated that the provincial religious committee has well performed its role as a bridge between the government and local religious organizations.
The official asked the provincial committee for religious affairs to complete the working plan on state administration on belief and religion in 2023 and well disseminate religious laws to religious followers in the locality.
The provincial religious committee was requested to closely collaborate with concerning agencies to solve issues relating allocation of land to religious organizations in districts of Binh Son and Ba To and Quang Ngai city.
The Vice Chairman also suggested the provincial religious committee and local authorities would focus on effectively implementing the state administration on belief and religion in the locality as well as prevent religious practices in contravention of the law.
