The Executive Board of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s chapter in An Thai Trung commune of Tien Giang province’s Cai Be district held on April 02 the general meeting for the 2019 – 2024 tenure.
The event saw the participation of included Chairman of Hoa Hao Buddhism’s Representative Committee in the province Võ Văn Thượng, Vice Chairman of the provincial Religious Committee Trần Văn Khuê, and representatives from 18 commune level executive boards in Tien Giang and 50 Hoa Hao Buddhist followers of An Thai Trung commune.
The meeting elected the seven-member executive board for the 2019-2024 tenure headed by Mr. Nguyễn Văn Hầu, and nominated two delegates for attending the general congress of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church to be held in May, 2019.
New executive board makes its debut
On this occasion, the commune authorities of An Thai Trung presented certificates of recommendation to four typical members of the An Thai Trung Hoa Hao Buddhist’s chapter for their outstanding social contributions in the commune.
