Linh Nghia Hiep Long pagoda in Tay Ninh city held on December 23 a solemn ceremony for the inauguration of its main worshipping building and supporting facilities.
Attending the event were Most Venerable Chairman of the Executive Committee Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s (VBS) Chapter in Tay Ninh province Thích Niệm Thới, Superior Nun Abbess of Nui Ba Tay Ninh pagoda Thích Nữ Diệu Nghĩa, representatives from local authorities and other religions, and large numbers of monks, nuns and followers in the city.
Linh Hiep Nghia Long Pagoda was established in 1954. The new main worshipping hall and its supporting facilities were built in 2010, and completed after nearly 7 years of construction with an estimated cost of over VND 13 million.
