Responding to a call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) in Tien Giang province, Venerable Thích Minh Phước, Abbot of Lien Hoa Buddhist temple located in Xuan Dong commune, Cho Gao district, handed over on May 31130 million VND to the provincial VFF for contributing to the Covid-19 vaccine fund.
Senior Venerable Thích Minh Phước informed that Lien Hoa temple, a worshiping place of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tien Giang, has called on Buddhists and other sponsors to support the Covid-19 vaccine fund, contributing to the Covid-19 prevention in the province.
At the handover ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Huỳnh Văn Hải took the chance to thank Lien Hoa temple for its financial contributions to the Covid-19 vaccine fund.
