Leaders of departments of Tay Ninh province attend the funeral held for the late Principal Archbishop Thượng Nguyên Thanh

On April 7 2014, leaders from Provincial Committee for Propagation and Education, Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tay Ninh province, Committee for Religious Affairs – Department of Home Affairs… attended the funeral held for the late Principal Archbishop Thượng Nguyên Thanh in the Temple of Gratitude , Tay Ninh Holy See

The late Principal Archbishop Thượng Nguyên Thanh was born in 1925 who was a dignitary and member of the Standing Committee of Caodai Tay Ninh church. In religious life, he has make great contributions to the building of the great national unity block, and educated Caodai’s followers to live for a good secular and religious life. Due to old age and poor health, he passed away 15.45pm on April 6, 2014 at his home in Ninh Thanh ward, Tay Ninh city at the age of 90.

Mr. Trang Văn Hải, Deputy Director of Home Affairs, Chairman of Tay Ninh province Committee for Religious Affairs and leaders of departments of Tay Ninh province offered incense to pay respect to the late Principal Archbishop Thượng Nguyên Thanh and expressed the deep condolences to the Caodai Tay Ninh Church and his family.
