A conference on promoting spiritual tourism with theme “Lang Son - a spiritual tourism destination” was held on February 23 in the city of Lang Son province.
The conference aimed at promoting the local spiritual and cultural tourism to both domestic and foreign tourists was organized by Lang Son province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism during the Lang Son Culture and Tourism Week 2017.
Attending the conference included Vice Chairman of Lang Son province People’s Committee, representatives from the Lang Son Department of Tourism, Vietnam Tourism Association, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in provinces and cities of Hanoi, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong and experts in the field of spiritual tourism.
During the conference, a cooperation agreement was signed between the tourism promoting and information centers and tourism enterprises from the provinces and cities of Lang Son, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, contributing to promote tourist cooperation and help Lang Son province becoming an active destination of Vietnam tourism.
According to Chairman of Lang Son Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyễn Phúc Hà, currently Lang Son province is home to has more than 600 historic sites, more than 300 traditional festivals in which many of them are worshipping establishments.
