Lam Dong province: Protestant Representative Committee holds annual spiritual refreshment conference

The Representative Committee under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Lam Dong province opened on June 24 the spiritual refreshment conference 2016 at Da Lat Protestant church in Da Lat city.
Attending the conference were Pastor President of the ECVN (South) Phan Vĩnh Cự, Pastor Member of the ECVN (Southern) Executive Committee Kon Sa Ha Hack, Pastor Head of the Representative Committee in Lam Dong province Cil Mup Ha Kar and over 5,000 dignitaries and followers in the locality.
Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức and local authorities’ representatives also join the event.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ngô Văn Đức spoke highly of practical contributions made by Protestant dignitaries and followers to socio-economic development and the maintenance of public security in the locality. He also urged Protestant dignitaries and followers to proactively take part in movements for hunger eradication, poverty reduction and social cohesion in local communities.
