The festival’s procession, special lion dance performances, and cultural and sport activities brought exciting and festive atmosphere to locals and visitors.
According to legend, the Ky Cung temple worships a mandarin named Tuần Tranh under Trần dynasty whom jumped into Ky Cung river for a suicide because of an injustice caused on him. Later, mandarin Thân Công Tài under Lê dynastic sent to vindicate Tuần Tranh’s death, then Ta Phu temple was built by the locals in his honor. Ky Cung Temple was recognized as a national relic in 1993.
Both festivals of the two temples are annually held together on the 22th day of the first lunar month.
