The delegation visited and met with Venerable Abbot of Xa Xia Pagoda Chao Bện and Venerable Abbot of Mui Nai Pagoda Con Trách, and several families in the province’s Ha Tien town.

Speaking at the visiting receptions, while extending congratulatory wishes to Khmer monks and people in Ha Tien town, Mrs. Bùi Tuyết Minh praised them for their practical contributions in actively participating in patriotic emulation movements for social stability and their efforts to overcome poverty and get rich.

She also expressed hope that the abbots of the Khmer Theravada Buddhist pagodas would continue working with the local authorities for guiding Khmer people to well observe State policies and laws, as well as maintain public security and order, contributing to socio-economic development in the locality.
