Kien Giang province: Suvannarasi – Klang Ong pagoda inaugurates its main worshipping building

The main worshipping building of Klang Ong pagoda in Chau Thanh district was solemnly inaugurated at a ceremony held on March 30.
Historically, Klang Ong pagoda was established in 1638 by local Buddhists.
The new main worshipping building was built in 2008 on a total area of 304.2m2, and completed after nearly 7 years of construction with an estimated cost of nearly 6 billion VND.
