The 13th Khmer culture-sport-tourism festival in An Giang province took place on April 11-13 in Moi Pagoda located in Tinh Bien town.
At the festival
The festival themed “Khmer community in An Giang join hands to build the prosperous locality” with the participation of 500 artists, actors, musicians, athletes and referees who are Khmer from districts of Tri Ton, Chau Phu, Chau Thanh, Thoai Son, Tinh Bien town and ethnic Khmer schools in the province.
The three-day festival featured a variety of cultural activities including art performances, food fare, exhibitions on images and artifacts relating to Khmer community in An Giang province and folk games such as running, tug of war, push sticks, etc.
