Sen Dolta festival with highlights of the Khmer ethnic culture in southern Vietnam was organized on October 21 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Son Tay town, Hanoi.
The program was co-organized by the village’s management board, the Soc Trang and Vinh Long provincial departments of culture, sports and tourism, ethnic committee in Hanoi and Mekong Delta tourism association.
Sene Dolta festival, one of the largest Khmer festivals, is annually held for Khmer people to pay tribute to their ancestors and celebrate familiar and communal relations which often features family and social gatherings with worshipping activities, and traditional songs and dances.
