The delegation led by Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s executive committee Danh Thiệp was welcomed by Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF committee Trương Hoàng Trọng.

During the visit, Most Venerable Danh Thiệp thanked the VFF committee’s due attention and support extended to the Khmer community over the past years, especially Khmer traditional New Year.

Vice Chairman Trương Hoàng Trọng also wished Khmer dignitaries and community in the locality a traditional new year of success, peace and happiness, while expressing his hope that Khmer community would continue upholding fine traditions and Khmer dignitaries would closely work with local authorities in disseminating State laws to the Khmer community and improving living standards of local Khmer Theravada Buddhists.
