A Kathina robes offering ceremony for monks took place in Phuoc Son Monastery located in Dong Nai province’s Bien Hoa city on November 29.
Attending the event included Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council Thích Thiện Tâm, Venerable Abbot of Phuoc Son Buddhist monastery Thích Bửu Chánh, a delegation of Buddhist monks and followers from Thailand, and over 3,000 nuns, monks and Buddhists inside and outside the locality.
Local guests at the event included representatives from provincial People’s Committee, Religious Committee for Religious Affairs and Bien Hoa city authorities.

Traditionally, the Buddhist monastery has held the Kathina robes offering ceremony on 12th day of the tenth lunar month after the annual three-month Buddhist Summer retreat course.
