The Representative Committee of the Islamic community in An Giang province held on January 9 a meeting at Nekmah mosque in Chau Phong commune to review its performance in the first half of the 2015-2020 tenure.
Attending the meeting included members of the representative committee of Islamic community and Hakin, Naep of Islamic mosques in the province.
Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Nguyên Châu and representatives from provincial Committees of Party Commission for Mass Mobilization and Vietnam Fatherland Front were amongst local guests at the event.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Lê Nguyên Châu called on the representative committee and the management board of Islamic mosques to closely joint local authorities for socio- economic development in the localities.
