Home Affairs Ministry marks 69th War Invalids and Martyrs Day

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trần Anh Tuấn led a delegation to visit Quang Tri province from July 24-26 on occasion of the 69th War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947).

The delegation visited, offered incense at Truong Son National Martyrs’ Cemetery and National Martyrs’ Cemetery Road 9, and met with relatives of war invalids, martyrs and people with special contribution to the country in the province.

During visit meetings in districts of Trieu Phong and Gio Linh, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Secretary of the Ministry’s Party Committee Trần Anh Tuấn extended best wishes and expressed deep gratitude to Vietnam Heroic Mothers, war invalids, martyrs and people with special contribution to the country for their service and sacrifice to the country in the cause of national liberation and unification.

During the visit, the home affairs delegation presented 100 gift sets to relatives of people who rendered meritorious service to the country in Quang Tri province’s Trieu Phong and Gio Linh districts.
