Minister of Home Affairs Phạm Thị Thanh Trà signed on June 11 a decision approving the home affairs ministry’s Action Plan for implementing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress.
The action plan aims to realize the Party’s viewpoints, guidelines and orientations according to the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress and the Action Plan of the Government for implementing the Party congress resolution concerning the home affairs ministry’s functions and tasks.
Regarding religious affairs, the home affairs ministry’s action plan calls for continuing guiding religious practices of religious followers and organizations in accordance with the Party’s viewpoints and guidelines and State laws, as well as strengthening the efficiency and effectiveness of the state administration on religion and belief.
The action plan also asks for continuous improvements in the system of laws on belief and religion, with the aim to fully institutionalize Party’s viewpoints on belief and religion, and bring a consistency of related laws, contributing to create a favorable legal framework for practices of belief and religion.
