According to Chairman of Hoi An city People’s Committee Nguyễn Văn Dũng, the Government has signed an agreement with Japan for high-tech sewage treatment project around Chua Cau (Bridge Temple) area.
On Dec. leaders of Quang Nam Hoi An city held a dialogue with approximately 200 people who are managers, owners or heads of relics and old houses, communal houses, and heritage collaborators to gather comments on preservation and promotion of cultural values of the UNESCO’s recognized cultural complex in the city.
According to the city authorities, in 2015 funding was allocated to upgrade 49 relics, repair eight heritages and develop an anti-termite project for 31 others.
The sewage treatment in Chua Cau using Japanese modern technology plans to be implemented in 2016 and completed in 2017.
