Attending the ceremony were Most Venerable Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Tánh Nhiếp, Venerable General Secretary of VBS Executive Council Thích Đức Thiện, members of the management board, abbots of pagodas and a large number of Buddhists in the locality.

Representatives from the provincial Party Committee Commission for Mass Mobilization, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs also joint the event.

During the ceremony, the provincial VBS Executive Committee officially announced the decision on the appointment of Hoang Phuc pagoda’s management board with Venerable Thích Đức Thiện was selected as Abbot of the pagoda and Venerable Vice Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Toại Đức took the role as deputy head of the pagoda.
