The groundbreaking ceremony of Hoang Phuc pagoda’s Buddhist recitation hall in Quang Binh city’ Le Thuy district was held on February 18.
Attending the event included Venerable General Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Council cum Abbot of Hoang Phuc pagoda Thích Đức Thiện, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hữu Hoài, Le Thuy district authorities, representatives of the sponsor of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and a large number of local Buddhists.
The Buddhist recitation hall will be built on an area of 90m2 with a estimated construction cost of over VND 4 billion. The work of construction was sponsored by BIDV.
