The Hoa Hao Buddhist executive board in Tri Ton district’s Co To commune of An Giang province was formally established at a ceremony held on December 15.
Present at the event included Vice Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in An Giang Lê Tùng Châu.
As approved by An Giang provincial government in July 14, 2020, the Hoa Hao Buddhist executive board in the commune currently has five members headed by Mr Chairman Phùng Văn Khiêm.
As reported, Co To commune currently has 231 Hoa Hao Buddhist followers.
