The Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hoa Buddhist Church has presented 10 solidarity houses to poor households in Hiep Xuong commune, An Giang province’s Phu Tan district.
Each charity house has an area from 32 m2 to 40m2, and the construction cost of 10 solidarity houses is about 520 million VND, of which the Hoa Hao Buddhist Central Executive Committee and sponsors in the locality has donated 420 million VND and the rest comes from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hiep Xuong commune and the households.
On this occasion, each family also received a gift package, valued at 1.1 million VND including 20 kg of rice, sleeping net, blanket, other necessities and 300,000 VND in cash.
