The Representative Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in An Giang province held on July 13 a meeting to review its performance in the first six months of 2018 and outlined working plans for the second half of the year.
The event taking place at Buu Hoa temple saw the participation of Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church Nguyễn Tấn Đạt, Chairman of the Church’s Representative Committee in the province Nguyễn Văn Tát and about 180 members from the district-level executive boards of the Church in the province.
As reported at the meeting, in the first half of 2018, Hoa Hao Buddhist followers in the province actively participated in charitable activities for supporting poor people, building social welfare facilities, building charity houses and concrete bridges, etc, with the total value of over 34.5 billion VND.
